Want to give something unique as a holiday gift, something that cannot be purchased in any store? Then this may be the workshop for you. We will learn how to make a variety of tasty treats for you to give as gifts such as spiced nuts, unusual pickles and jams, quick cookies, specialty salts, and even homemade candy. Learn the art of infusing liquids - gin, vodka and vinegar. All of these are quick and easy, and all participants will receive a helpful handout with all recipes, shopping guide and other useful tips.
Cassandra began helping her mom out in the kitchen at age 4. Today her kitchen contains over 300 cookbooks and a wide range of kitchen gadgets collected during her travels. She does her own canning, making jams and pickles of all kinds, and has a passion for making everything from scratch that she can including bread, pasta and yogurt - and likes to gift her friends at holiday time with baskets of homemade goodies. Her newest kitchen adventure is tackling the task of making vegan cheese and salami.
