What are the staples of a healthy and thriving relationship?
Does it sometimes feel like you're so busy with the logistical elements of an international move that the quality of your relationship with your partner is taking a backseat?
Much like an annual medical health exam, a relationship doesn't need to be in crisis or decline in order for us to examine its foundations and status. As expats, we are more susceptible to a decreased level of satisfaction in our relationships due various factors such as lack of social support, cultural adjustment frustrations, and lack of time. This is a chance to discuss and gain an overview of the seven steps towards a healthy relationship as well as communication pitfalls to avoid especially as it pertains to the partnership of a trailing spouse.
