Date: Friday, March 29
Time: 11.00 – 12.00
Presenter: Alexandra Dufresne
This workshop will teach you how to pitch, write, and publish an OpEd or personal essay in a newspaper or media outlet. We will share big ideas and concrete, practical tips. The workshop instructor has coached several first-time writers in publishing very successful essays for Swissinfo.ch, where she is a frequent contributor. The last time this workshop was given at the AWCZ, one of the participants ended up having an essay published in The Huffington Post. This workshop is appropriate for both beginning and experienced writers. Please bring an idea of a topic you'd like to write about.
