50 years ago humans went to the Moon — a defining moment in human history. IBM professionals, working side by side with NASA, were pioneering the technologies and building the computers that helped get astronauts to the moon and return them safely to Earth. This was a landmark achievement in computing, which would lay much of the groundwork for the IT revolution that followed.
On this note, we are pleased to welcome guest speaker, Nicole Strachowski, Senior Communications Professional, Think Lab, IBM Research in Zurich. The thrust of her presentation will be, Pioneering the Future of Humans and Machine: Collaborative Innovation at IBM Research.
We’ll take a look at what’s cooking at one of the world’s leading IT research organizations and discover how IBM collaborates with industry and academia to address some of the world’s most complex challenges.
