Come join us for Gallery at the Club to enjoy the vernissage of Veronique Gray. The theme is "Through Our Eyes."
Veronique writes, “I am a French artist and the editor-in-chief of an online lifestyle magazine called Vivamost. My debut in painting started when I was recovering from a burn-out in a clinic. There I discovered a new passion.
Art therapy is known to be beneficial for self-discovery, self-esteem, stress relief and emotional release. It made me happy working with colors and helped me express my anger, deepest sadness and go through personal losses.
I work most of the time with acryl. Creating abstracts and using mixed media is what I enjoy the most because it is good for my creativity. I like seeing where my brushes, tools or hands lead me instead of planning.
My source of inspiration comes from nature, sunsets and my voyages. . . The viewer will notice eyes here and there in the paintings. I become an "actor" and can be a bird or a fish. Other times my people are the actors, looking at the world themselves.”
The exhibition for "Through Our Eyes" will run from March 2 through April 24, on Monday to Friday, between 10.00 and 13.00.
