Switzerland is not quite the country that is known for its wines except for the ordinary Féchy or Fendant you might open for a Raclette or Fondue. In this workshop you will get to taste the enormous diversity of Swiss wine, you'll learn about the fascinating interplay of landscape, mountains, and soil, and why Swiss wines could be the next big thing.
Cornelia has a background in agricultural science, which means wine production wasn't too far for her. However, she thinks wine is more than just some strawberries and tobacco flavors in a glass. After some time in the business, she realized how frustrating wine buying is and how confusing for consumers since the fascinating world of wine is depicted as something overly complex so that most people just give up and hope that they like the taste of what ends up in their glass. This is whyshe's now doing a PhD in consumer behavior and wine.
