In this workshop, we’ll learn the basics of Greek cooking which is a perfect example of Mediterranean cuisine. We’ll learn about the herbs and fresh vegetables that are a mainstay in our diet as well as what meats go best with them. There will be easy to follow recipes with lots of hands on preparation. Make sure to bring containers so you can take home your delicious masterpieces and share them with your family and friends.
My studies are in physical therapy, in 1979 I worked as a movement therapist in NYC and 28 years as independent physical therapist focused on psychosomatics and psychiatry in Zurich. In 1998 I became a licensed teacher in Greek dances by national Dora Stratou Theatre Athens .I’ve had 20 years of experience teaching Greek dances in Zurich, Greece/Crete, Germany and France. Having grown up in a Greek culture, I also developed a love of Mediterranean cooking and enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have gained in this area.
