Naruto.jpgAnimals play such an important role in our lives and in our world! Our dogs and cats, indeed all our pets, are dearly loved, and make a significant contribution to our well-being, both emotionally and physically. Paradoxically, we know that sick farm animals can also cause human suffering, yet conventional medical research would be nearly impossible without animals.

The Global Animal Law GAL Association, a tax exempt organization, was founded in Switzerland in 2014 by Dr. jur. Antoine F. Goetschal. GAL advocates for a world -wide examination of animal treatment among the nations and the establishment of a Global Animal Law Friendly Index (GALFI) to classify and promote animal- friendly states In particular, the association wants to create the foundations for more animal-fnendly legislation at all levels, locally, nationally and globally.

GAL has contracted with our AWCZ Gallery at the Club to exhibit an intriguing variety of animal-themed art works by many renowned and by some as yet little-known artists, all of whom care deeply about animals. The net proceeds from the sale of paintings, drawings and photographs exhibited in Art For Animals will be used by the Global Animal Law GAL Association to advance its national and global projects. *
