Crochet basics for everyone! really!
First a word to the wise: crocheting is very therapeutic AND highly addictive.
You will learn the simple magic about how to start and finish a project, a variety of basic stitches and how to read crochet instruction graphs to get you started on your own new creative mission. I promise you'll have fun with it, too!
Rose Haechler Galle is a lifelong crocheter and convener of those who enjoy the skill.
Everyone will take home a (sewn-by-yours-truly) cotton project bag containing your new crochet hook, the sample swatch you created along with the instructions and a complete yarn and instructions kit containing everything you need for your very first potholder or washcloth!
Cost: 20 CHF Members/30 CHF Non-Members.
Additional costs: 35 CHF for material fees

AWCZ Cancellation and No Show Policy: For those cost-based Events and Activities, the participant/s will be billed for the Event/Activity unless she/he has cancelled before the cancellation deadline in writing or per e-mail. For free Events and Activities, as we need an accurate head count for the caterers, the cancellation deadline should be honored. Thank you for your understanding.

Having been raised in Switzerland, I learned how to crochet in first grade and since then have always had several projects going. I have literally made everything from baby booties to afghans and from potholders to finishing some of my beloved grandmother's started projects. Back in Seattle in 1982, I started my first weekly stitch and bitch group at my house where all levels were welcome and some fabulous new talents were discovered by many of the participants. you could be on that list, too!
