Framing Helvetica: Women's Film Festival

NETIZENS by Cynthia Lowen

Join us to watch the acclaimed film by Zurich resident and Club member Cynthia Lowen.

NETIZENS (2018) 1h 36m

Three women. Three lives upended. One digital battlefield.

When the internet became a weapon, they were the targets. From non-consensual imagery to relentless cyberstalking, the law told them to "just unplug." They chose to fight back instead. Witness the powerful true story of the digital pioneers risking everything to police the "Wild West" of the web. They aren’t just survivors; they are the architects of a safer future.

The internet never forgets. But neither do they.

Justice is finally logging on.

Doors open: 18:45

Film begins: 19:00

Apero and Discussion: 20:45 - 21:30
