Yvonne has written a textbook on animal symbolism in Jungian psychology. She has written about her mother‘s Quaker ancestry, which dates to 1730. She is currently working on her memoirs about growing up on a remote lake in Canada. For this session, Yvonne will reference pages 28 and 29 in A Year to a Writing Life, by Susan Tiberghien. PAWZ: Guest Speaker: Rea Eggli, Entrepreneur

Magic exists in every beginning

Rea Eggli is a true serial entrepreneur. Her projects include a publishing firm (swissandfamous), the event series "Märli für Erwachsene" (Fairy Tales for Adults), a communications agency called eggliwintsch, as well as the arts-focused Eiger Foundation. She is also behind the bookstore Westflügel, located in Zurich's trendy Im Viadukt market. You may already be familiar with www.wemakeit.com, currently Switzerland's most successful crowdfunding platform for creatives. Rea is behind that project, too.

Today #letsmuseeum commands most of Rea’s attention. The cultural startup concerns experienced coaches and guides engaged in storytelling; proving that new audiences can be inspired to take part in museum and city tours, and via organized workshops learn about topics of importance.

As Rea proclaims: “I love to initiate things, some fail and some are successful.” All AWC members won’t want to miss Rea’s visit, in which she will discuss some of her lessons learned and reflect on 20 years of entrepreneurship. The presentation will be followed by a question & answer session and Apéro. Fee includes a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Payments can be made at the door.
